Opening Drive (Oct. 21): Into the home stretch

0 0

This week, five 615 area teams put their unbeaten records on the line in varying situations. Gallatin and Beech do it for the Region 6-5A title, so that number’s guaranteed to drop. Pearl-Cohn visits Independence as the Firebirds try to improve to 9-0. Nolensville visits Franklin hoping to do the same. Oakland wants to keep the train rolling. And there’s Nashville Christian, one win away from clinching its region.

One week from now, the playoff picture will zoom in and come into sharper focus. But this week still has plenty to determine.
