Opening Drive (Oct. 22): A top-five showdown

It’s official – when Gallatin and Beech take the field on Friday, it’ll be a battle of top-five ranked teams in Class 5A. The Green Wave check in at No. 4 this week, while Beech resides at No. 2 in the Associated Press’ top 10 statewide polls.

And they should be. Both teams are 8-0 and have quality wins on their schedules. There are more similarities, but you’ll have to listen to the 615Preps Podcast this week to hear more about them. Check it out on Apple Podcasts, SoundCloud, Stitcher and other streaming services tomorrow.
