615 Preps Football: 35 returning offensive linemen to know in 2025

3 0

Spring has arrived, meaning we’re just a few short months away from the 2025 high school football kicking off. That means it’s a perfect time for some preview action to prepare you for the upcoming season.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll have pieces highlighting certain position groups and the top area players in those groups to keep an eye on in the new season.

These lists will include area players who were statistically some of the area’s best in 2024. All submissions were also sent in with stats provided by their coaches.

Last week we highlighted the returning quarterbacks, top returning running backs and top returning pass-catchers. Now it’s time to focus in on the guys up front who do the dirty work.

Here are 35 returning Nashville area offensive linemen you need to keep an eye on during the 2025 season:

Jack Fuchs, Beech, Sr.: Fuchs is a rising four-star prospect who’s picked up several Power Four offers in the last few months. The 6-foot-8, 300-pounder will be one of the best lineman on what should be a potent Bucs offense.

London Parks, Beech, Jr.: Parks saw his stock rise following a standout sophomore season. The 6-foot-3, 270-pounder is a name to keep an eye on going forward.

Koehn Dial, BGA, So.: Dial’s a name we’ll hear a lot these next three years. The 6-foot-8, 305-pounder was a MaxPreps Freshman All-American, grading out at 78 percent on the year with eight knockdowns.

Nate Fleming, BGA, Jr.: Fleming could have been on the offensive or defensive line list and deservedly so. On defense, he racked up 53 total tackles, 12 sacks, seven tadckles for loss and was still just as good, if not better on offense grading out at 88 percent with 38 pancakes.

Kennedy Jackson, Blackman, Sr.: Jackson’s enters his senior with a plethora of experience with two years as a starter already under his belt.

JD Ahern, Brentwood Academy, Sr.: Ahern may not be the biggest guy on the field, but he’s excelled in his role as the Eagles’ center.

Daniel Payne, Brentwood Academy, Sr.: A 6-foot-2, 310-pounder up front, Payne recently picked up an offer from UT-Martin and should see more offers heading his way as the season goes on.

Philip Wenk, Brentwood, Sr.: Wenk is in store for a huge senior season after being named as Region 6-6A honorable mention in 2024.

Kemonte Williams, Cane Ridge, Jr.: Williams was an All-City and All-Region playing both sides of the ball for the Ravens.

Chandler Hale, Cannon County, Sr.: Hale was big for the Lions in 2024, being named the Region Co-Offensive Lineman of the Year.

Isaiah Bryant, CPA, Jr.: OL: The next generation of great linemen for the Lions saw plenty of playing time last season. Bryant was one of those standouts, earning First Team All-Region honors.

Ben Hale, CPA, Jr.: Hale began earning college interest last season and for good reason. As a sophomore he recorded more than 60 pancakes while not allowing any sacks or tackles for loss.

Hezekiah Lee, CPA, Sr.: Lee will be CPA’s senior leader on the line this season after earning All-Region and All-State honors as a junior.

Skyler Smith, CPA, Jr.: Like Bryant, Smith played a ton as a sophomore, earning himself First Team All-Region honors.

Logan Murray, Davidson Academy, Jr.: Standing at 6-foot-4 and 290 pounds, Murray was one of the area’s best in 2024, recording 52 pancake blocks.

Gonni Martin, East Nashville, Jr.: Martin played a massive role in the Eagles’ success last season, earning All-Region and All-City honors.

Bryson Shreeve, East Robertson, Sr.: Shreeve is a three-year starter for what’s been a really good Indians offensive line. During that time he’s earned All-State, Region Offensive Lineman of the Year, and All-County honors.

Andrew Hogan, Ensworth, Sr.: Hogan will likely play both ways for the Tigers, but will likely be at his best on the offensive side of the ball. Standing at 6-foot-2 and 278 pounds, he should open up holes for what should be a stout Tigers rushing attack.

Sam Rood, Fairview, Sr.: Rood’s been a standout for the Yellow Jackets for the last few seasons and earned All-Region honors each of the last two seasons.

Cameron Higgins, Franklin, Sr.: Higgins had a standout year for the Admirals, with 10 pancakes and only one sack allowed over 12 games.

Kaden Buchanan, Friendship Christian, Jr.: Buchanan is one of the area’s fastest prospects and for good reason. Standing at 6-foot-5 and 320 pounds, he recorded more than 35 pancake blocks as a sophomore.

Brixton Dorris, Friendship Christian, Jr.: Buchanan wasn’t alone leading the Commanders offensive line last year, as Dorris also earned All-Region honors with more than 30 pancake blocks.

Landon Peveler, Gallatin, Sr.: Peveler played a pivotal role for the Green Wave in 2024, earning All-Region honors and will be one of their key leaders this season.

Ronan McNamara, Green Hill, Sr.: McNamara earned All-Region honors once again last season, leading a Green Hill line that opened up things for one of the area’s most potent offenses. A 30+ game starter for the Hawks, he’ll anchor their line once again in 2025.

Gavin Uhlir, Green Hill, Sr.: Uhlir was an All-Region selection in 2024 and for good reason. With more than 30 games as a starter under his belt, he could be in store for a career season.

Tylor Jones, Hillsboro, Sr.: Jones is a two-year starter for the Burros who played both ways for them during his time as a starter.

Jermarious Menesse, Hillsboro, Sr.: Like Jones, Menesse is a two-year starter for the Burros. Standing at 6-foot-1 and 325 pounds, he provides a lot up front.

Jeremiah Carter, MJCA, Sr.: Carter earned second team All-Region honors in 2024 for the Saints during a season where he allowed no sacks.

Colin Romero, Nashville Christian, Jr.: A former standout at White House Heritage, Romero joins an already loaded Eagles squad. With the Patriots he graded out at 93 percent with 40 pancakes while also recording 73 tackles, 12.5 for loss with 8.5 sacks on the year and a forced fumble on defense.

Preston Rose, Oakland, Jr.: Rose had a great season in Oakland’s state championship run earning All-Region honors.

Jordan Curll, Page, Sr.: Curll joined the Patriots last season and immediately made an impact earning All-Region honors. He’s recently picked up a lot of steam on the recruiting trail and should continue to see his stock rise.

Jacob Rathbone, Page, Sr.: Rathbone is a two-time All-State and two-time Region Lineman of the Year. With 45 straight starts to his name, Rathbone had his best year as a junior with more than 25 pancakes, graded out at 88 percent and played every snap on both sides of the ball.

LaBrian Shelborne, Riverdale, Sr.: There’s no denying Shelborne’s importance to the Warriors as he was named the Region 3-6A co-Offensive Lineman of the Year.

Tyler Ogan, Station Camp, Jr.: The Bison’s starting right tackle, Ogan will look to build upon a sophomore year where he started all 12 games.

Brady Dolan, Station Camp, So.: Dolan had a great freshman year for the Bison, starting all 12 games and earning All-County second team honors.
