0 0

Last week’s slate of games saw an instant-classic and several other important matchups. Week 11 promises to be even better on the whole.

Region championships are on the line as are playoff berths in several matchups.

The 615 Preps staff has put together a list of the top five large, medium, and small class teams in our coverage area following last week’s action.

Large Class teams include 6A and Division II-AAA. Medium Class teams include 5A, 4A, and Division II-AA. Small Class teams include 3A, 2A, 1A, and Division II-A, and each grouping has roughly 30 teams in it.

Large Class

1. Ravenwood (9-0): After Oakland took the lead in overtime, Femi Babalola immediately hit Ben Hubbard for six. The Raptors went for two and Babalola’s strike to Patrick Sullivan lifted them to the 32-31 win. Up next: vs. Brentwood (8-1)

2. Ensworth (9-0): Another week, another blowout win for the Tigers. This time they dismantled Briarcrest Christian 36-3. Up next: at Christian Brothers (5-3)

5. Green Hill (9-0): Never trailing, the Hawks jumped up on Cookeville early and never look back en route to a crucial 28-14 region win. Kannon Burroughs accounted for 323 yards and a pair of passing touchdowns in the win. Up next: vs. Mt. Juliet
