The TSSAA and Tennessee Titans announced their 2026 Mr. Football award semifinalists on Thursday.
Final Mr. Football voting was conducted following the conclusion of the regular season after coaches and media from around the state voted for players via an online ballot.
Five semifinalists for each class, as well as five for the Mr. Football Kicker of the Year award, were then selected by a committee of statewide sports writers. They are chosen based on their performance from the 2026 regular season while character and academics are also taken into consideration. Postseason performance is not factored into the awards in any way.
Three finalists for each award will be announced at 6:30 pm Central on Tuesday, Nov. 24 during the “Titans Football with Robert Saleh” show. The announcement will also be streamed on www.tennesseetitans.com, the Official Titans Mobile App and @Titans on X, Facebook and YouTube at 8pm ET/7pm CT.
A ceremony will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 8 at Nissan Stadium in Nashville to award this year’s winners.
