Voting is now open to name the 615 Preps Three Stars of the Week for Week 8, presented by Lookout Pest Control.
The top three vote-getters in the weekly poll will be named the Three Stars of the Week. Voting can be done once every 24 hours, and ends at noon Central time each Friday.
In order to be considered, stats must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Monday. Regular season honorees are ineligible to win again until the playoffs.
Here are the finalists, in alphabetical order, for the Three Stars of the Week for Week 8:
Andre Adams, Antioch: Adams was 23-for-33 passing for 392 yards and three touchdowns and rushed 13 times for 67 yards and another score in the Bears’ 34-31 win at FRA.
Brody Bullock, Independence: Bullock caught 16 passes for 136 yards in the Eagles’ loss to Page.
Kwadir Fletcher, FRA: Fletcher rushed for 215 yards and three touchdowns on 25 carries, recorded six tackles and one sack in the Panthers’ loss to Antioch.
LJ Funk, Pearl-Cohn: Funk threw four touchdown passes in the first half of the Firebirds’ 54-12 win over visiting Greenbrier.
Brian Rudd, Jo Byrns: Rudd threw three touchdown passes, ran for a touchdown and returned a punt for another score in the Red Devils’ 42-0 victory over visiting Innovation Academy.
Larry Sanders II, Brentwood Academy: Sanders rushed 21 times for 195 yards and five touchdowns in the Eagles’ 42-7 win over visiting Briarcrest Christian.
Cal Wiebush, Page: Wiebush registered 16 solo tackles, five assists, a tackle for loss and a fumble recovery in the Patriots’ 7-3 win at Independence.
Kason Young, East Robertson: Young went 8-for-9 passing for 236 yards and four touchdowns and rushed three times for 23 yards and another score in the Indians’ 49-0 victory over visiting Houston County.
