Voting is now open to name the 615 Preps Three Stars of the Week for Week 5, presented by Lookout Pest Control.
The top three vote-getters in the weekly poll will be named the Three Stars of the Week. Voting can be done once every 24 hours, and ends at noon Central time each Friday.
In order to be considered, stats must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Monday. Regular season honorees are ineligible to win again until the playoffs.
Here are the finalists, in alphabetical order, for the Three Stars of the Week for Week 5:
Gavin Hampton, Riverdale: Hampton was a perfect 8-for-8 passing for 141 yards and four touchdowns, and he added a rushing score in the Warriors’ 55-6 victory over visiting Stewarts Creek.
Lynch Magness, Father Ryan: Magness had three interceptions, including two returned for touchdowns, in the Irish’s 46-41 victory at MUS.
Tate Mathis, Nashville Christian: Mathis was a perfect 8-for-8 passing for 153 yards and five touchdowns in the Eagles’ 48-0 victory at Mt. Juliet Christian.
Ben Singleton, Creek Wood: Singleton was 10-for-13 passing for 262 yards and four touchdowns and added a rushing touchdown in the Red Hawks’ 47-40 victory at Battle Creek.
Odell Springer, Creek Wood: Springer caught eight passes for 241 yards and four touchdowns in the Red Hawks’ win.
JD Stafford, Stratford: Stafford rushed nine times for 241 yards and four touchdowns in the Spartans’ 69-0 victory over visiting Nashville Collegiate Prep.
Jacob Vaughn, Oakland: Vaughn scored six touchdowns (three rushing, two receiving, one kickoff return) in the Patriots’ 55-6 victory over visiting Siegel.
Vincent Ward, Greenbrier: Ward threw for a touchdown and ran for three more, including the game-winning 47-yard score on fourth down, in the Bobcats’ 35-28 victory at Portland.
