Voting is now open to name the 615 Preps Three Stars of the Week for Week 3, presented by Lookout Pest Control.
The top three vote-getters in the weekly poll will be named the Three Stars of the Week. Voting can be done once every 24 hours, and ends at noon Central time each Friday.
In order to be considered, stats must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Monday. Regular season honorees are ineligible to win again until the playoffs.
Here are the finalists, in alphabetical order, for the Three Stars of the Week for Week 3:
Bo Bryan, BGA: Bryan completed 22 of 29 passes for 307 yards and five touchdowns in the Wildcats’ 49-6 victory over visiting Pearl-Cohn.
Dallas Covington, East Nashville: Covington completed 17 of 22 passes for 316 yards and three touchdowns and rushed eight times for 75 yards and two more scores in the Eagles’ 52-40 victory over visiting Hillsboro.
Kristian Jones, Ezell-Harding: Jones rushed 11 times for 294 yards and three touchdowns, caught four passes for 39 yards, recorded four tackles (one for a loss) and intercepted a pass in the Eagles’ 24-14 victory at Franklin Christian.
Henri Perry, MBA: Perry intercepted two passes, made four field goals and four extra points and also had a successful onside kick in the Big Red’s 40-36 victory over visiting FRA.
Jaden Steele, Maplewood: Steele rushed 12 times for 208 yards and four touchdowns, caught one pass for 15 yards, and recorded 10 tackles with three tackles for a loss in the Panthers’ 33-14 victory at Cane Ridge.
Trevon Tyson, Hillsboro: Tyson caught two touchdown passes, recorded 10 tackles, broke up two passes and blocked a field goal in the Burros’ 52-40 loss at East Nashville.
Kason Young, East Robertson: Young completed 18 of 26 passes for 294 yards and four touchdowns in the Indians’ 41-6 victory over visiting Jo Byrns.
