615 Preps Week 3 Area Rankings: A new No. 1 in the Small Class ranks

There was some shuffling of the decks after Week 2 games went final, and a new No. 1 team in our Small Class rankings this week.
The 615 Preps staff has put together a list of the top 10 large, medium, and small class teams in our coverage area. Large Class teams include the 29 Class 6A and Division II-AAA teams in our coverage area. Medium Class teams include 5A, 4A, and Division II-AA, totaling 25 squads. Small Class teams include 3A, 2A, 1A, and Division II-A, which contain 29 teams.
Large Class
1. Oakland (2-0)
Change: None (last week: 1st) | Last week: 50-20 win at Centerville (Ohio) | This week: vs. Smyrna
Kemani Bass (seven carries, 126 yards, 3 TD), Donte Cameron (11 carries, 75 yards, TD) and Jacob Vaughn (10 carries for 74 yards, two catches, 76 yards, TD) made up the three-headed monster that slayed their Ohio foe last week.
2. Brentwood Academy (1-1)

Lex Baskin (five catches, 154 yards, 2 TD) was the biggest recipient of Crews Jenkins’ 371-yard, 4-TD performance in the Eagles’ first win of 2026.
3. Riverdale (1-1)

Luke Tritch and Brylan Oduor each snagged a pair of TD passes from Gavin Hampton as the Warriors rolled Father Ryan for their first win of the year.
4. MBA (2-0)

MBA’s defense and special teams accounted for 23 of their 37 first quarter points against Hamilton.
5. Lipscomb Academy (1-1)

The Mustangs’ defense held Ravenwood to its lowest point total in nearly three full years in Week 2.

Talk about efficient: Bo Bryan completed all eight of his passes for 189 yards and four touchdowns against Columbia Academy.

More efficient production: ReMello Armstrong caught two passes against Cookeville. They went for 28- and 73-yard touchdowns.
3. Page (2-0)

The Patriots now hold the area’s second-longest winning streak at 16 games after blanking Green Hill.
4. Pearl-Cohn (1-1)

Mikhai Moshay had another key defensive play against CPA that helped the Firebirds get into the win column.
5. Springfield (2-0)

It’s nice when your backup quarterback can come in and throw for 353 yards and four touchdowns like Preston Ramsey did against Clarksville.

Two weeks, six points allowed for the Commanders’ defense. That certainly qualifies as a solid start.
2. Nashville Christian (1-1)

Their school-record win streak ended at 24 games, but Hudson Smith still had a nice night with 119 yards and a score on the ground.
3. East Nashville (1-1)

Full marks to the Eagles for going toe-to-toe with the powerful Antioch offense despite the close loss.
4. East Robertson (2-0)

Not many freshmen can say they’ve rushed for 492 yards in two games, but Issac Prince has done that for the Indians through two weeks.
5. Gordonsville (2-0)
Change: None (last week: 5th) | Last week: 14-0 win at Watertown | This week: vs. Fayetteville
The Tigers outrushed Watertown 238-95 last week in their victory. It also marks the 11th consecutive season that Gordonsville has shut out at least one opponent.
