Voting is now open to name the 615 Preps Three Stars of the Week for Week 1, presented by Lookout Pest Control.
The top three vote-getters in the weekly poll will be named the Three Stars of the Week. Voting can be done once every 24 hours, and ends at noon Central time each Friday.
In order to be considered, stats must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Monday. Regular season honorees are ineligible to win again until the playoffs.
Here are the finalists, in alphabetical order, for the Three Stars of the Week for Week 1:
Deon Barnes, Whites Creek: Barnes threw two touchdown passes and ran for two more scores, including a 70-yarder, in the Cobras’ 28-24 victory at Franklin-Simpson (Ky.).
Bo Bryan, BGA: Bryan was 16-for-21 passing for 382 yards and three touchdowns in the Wildcats’ 41-18 win at St. Michael Catholic (Ala.).
Braylen Dolan, Station Camp: Dolan finished with 12 tackles, three sacks, and two forced fumbles in the Bison’s 50-21 victory over Greenwood (Ky.).
Jaylen Mays, East Nashville: Mays intercepted three passes and returned them for 91 yards in the Eagles’ 19-7 victory at Collierville.
Mikhai Moshay, Pearl-Cohn: Moshay returned two interceptions for touchdowns in the Firebirds’ 34-20 loss to visiting MBA.
Colten Overbey, Station Camp: Overbey went 17-for-26 passing for 247 yards and five touchdowns and ran 14 times for 48 yards in Station Camp’s win.
Issac Prince, East Robertson: Prince ran for 241 yards and three touchdowns on 33 carries in the Indians’ 28-21 win over visiting Liberty Creek.
Jacob Vaughn, Oakland: Vaughn averaged 27.6 yards per carry, rushing for 193 yards on just seven attempts and two touchdowns, including a 90-yarder, in the Patriots’ 56-7 victory at CPA.
