Antioch 4-star quarterback Andre Adams commits to Colorado

1 0

From the heart of the Volunteer State to the peaks of the Rockies, Coach Prime has officially planted a flag in Tennessee.

Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders has built a reputation for recruiting with a specific “it” factor, and he just found his next centerpiece in the 615.

Andre Adams, the four-star quarterback out of Antioch, has committed to the University of Colorado. He is the first Tennessee prospect to join the Buffaloes’ 2027 cycle.

Adams is a statistical whirlwind, putting up 9,857 all-purpose yards and 106 touchdowns over his first three years of high school. Even more impressive is his precision; despite those massive numbers, he has only thrown six interceptions in three seasons.

While Adams is the first from his state in this class, he’ll find a familiar “Tennessee Pipeline” waiting for him in Boulder. He joins a group of local talent including Boo Carter, Elliot Arnold, Chauncey Gooden, and Corbin Laisure.

Ranked as the No.10 quarterback in the nation, Adams was one of the most wanted players on the trail.

The Buffaloes beat out a long list of schools for his talent, including Mississippi State, Virginia Tech, Memphis, Kentucky, Oregon, and Florida State.

In Adams, Colorado gets a true dual-threat weapon who can run but also has the poise to pick apart a defense from the pocket. The “Prime Effect” is clearly still working deep in SEC territory.
