Vote for the 615 Preps Three Stars of the Week for Week 8!

Voting is now open to name the 615 Preps Three Stars of the Week for Week 8.

The top three vote-getters in the weekly poll will be named the Three Stars of the Week. Voting can be done once every 24 hours, and ends at noon Central time each Friday.

In order to be considered, stats must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Monday. Regular season honorees are ineligible to win again until the playoffs.

Here are the finalists, in alphabetical order, for the Three Stars of the Week for Week 8:

Eli Garrett, Cannon County: Garrett went 16-of-20 passing for 397 yards and five touchdowns in the Lions’ 42-14 win at Jackson County.

Brandon Goliday, Antioch: Goliday caught 12 passes for 245 yards and four touchdowns in the Bears’ 64-62 victory over visiting FRA.

Micah Graves, Maplewood: Graves caught four passes for 80 yards and a touchdown, returned a kickoff for a touchdown and registered 10 tackles with one tackle for a loss in the Panthers’ 20-12 victory over visiting Whites Creek.

Dominic Hamer, Antioch: Hamer recorded 15 tackles with one tackle for a loss and an interception in the Bears’ win over FRA.

Mike Hassell, FRA: Hassell rushed for 216 yards and five touchdowns on 26 carries and caught eight passes for 113 yards in the Panthers’ loss at Antioch.

Walker Hobbs, Cheatham County: Hobbs rushed for 189 yards and three touchdowns on 24 carries and collected seven tackles in the Cubs’ 42-34 victory at Hunters Lane.

Kaedyn Marable, BGA: Marable completed 8-of-9 passes for 163 yards and four touchdowns in the first half of the Wildcats’ 44-0 victory over visiting Chattanooga Prep that was called at halftime.

Jack Nimitz, FRA: Nimitz went 28-of-41 passing for 389 yards and three touchdowns and rushed 10 times for 48 yards and another score in the Panthers’ loss at Antioch.

Kason Woodson, Springfield: Woodson was 9-of-13 passing for 177 yards and two touchdowns and had two carries for 80 yards and a score in the Yellow Jackets’ 49-6 win over visiting McGavock.
