Just a fe days after his final official visit of the summer, Ravenwood quarterback Femi Babalola had his mind made up.
That trip to Chesnut Hill appeared to have made a lasting impact as the rising senior announced his commitment to Boston College Monday afternoon.
Babalola chose the Eagles over Arizona, Georgia Tech, Maryland, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest.
Arriving on the scene as the Raptors starting quarterback his sophomore year, Babalola shined and showed potential early on. He led Ravenwood to a 9-4 record passing for 1,944 yards and 13 touchdowns.
Last season he split starting time with a returning and healthy Maverick Chance.
Alongside the Navy commitment, Babalola and Chance led Ravenwood to a 13-1 mark including an unbeaten regular season. Their lone loss came to Houston in the Class 6A semifinals.
Babalola finished the year with 1,248 yards passing and 11 touchdowns. He also added three touchdowns on the ground.
Each of the four major recruiting outlets ranks Babalola as a three-star prospect.
ESPN has the highest rating for the 6-foot-3, 205-pounder ranking him as the No. 20 quarterback in the 2026 cycle and the No. 11 player in Tennessee.
