Last October, Nashville Christian 5-star quarterback Jared Curtis decommitted from Georgia. Heading into his senior season, Curtis has officially decided that Athens will be his future home.

Curtis recommitted to the Bulldogs on Monday in a recruiting battle that came down to Georgia and Oregon.

The 6-foot-4, 225-pounder ranks as a five-star recruit and top-10 prospect by each of the four major recruiting outlets. ESPN ranks Curtis as the No. 2 prospect in the country while On3 has him at No. 3, Rivals at No. 4 and 247Sports at No. 7.

A three-year starter for the Eagles, Curtis has led Nashville Christian to two Division II-A state title games.

Last season led the program to a 12-1 record as they beat Columbia Academy 49-21 for their first state championship since 2015.

He finished his junior season completing 70% of his passes for 2,830 yards with 40 touchdowns and only three interceptions. On the ground, he accounted for 637 yards and 18 more touchdowns.

All of that success led to Curtis being named the DII-A Mr. Football winner and the Tennessee Gatorade Player of the Year.

For his career, Curtis has completed 62% of his passes for 7,665 yards and 92 touchdowns. On the ground he’s added 1,663 more yards and 38 touchdowns.
