As crazy as it sounds, the 12th week of the high school basketball season has arrived. It also means we’re one step closer to postseason play.
Last week’s slate of games also brought about a few changes in this week’s area rankings.
Large Class teams include 4A, 3A, and Division II-AA. Small Class teams include 4A, 3A, and Division II-AA.
Here’s a look at the top 20 teams in our area entering the fifth week of the season.
Large Class
1. Clarksville (18-0): It was business as usual for the Lady Wildcats as they beat Kirkwood by 20 and Springfield by 14. Malon Smith averaged 25 points between the wins.
2. Blackman (17-2): The Lady Blaze only played once last week and crushed Siegel 73-22.
3. Page (20-4): Another week, another set of wins for the Lady Patriots. They beat Centennial 64-13 and Summit 59-43.

5. Lebanon (16-6): Putting the loss to Cookeville behind them, the Devilettes rebounded by beating LaVergne 60-25 and Wilson Central 79-35.
