Week 10 of the high school girls basketball season had some eye-opening results. That means we had quite a few changes in this week’s area rankings.
Large Class teams include 4A, 3A, and Division II-AA. Small Class teams include 4A, 3A, and Division II-AA.
Here’s a look at the top 20 teams in our area entering the fifth week of the season.
Large Class
1. Clarksville (16-0): In a game that figured to be their toughest in district-play, the Lady Wildcats blew past Rossview 46-18. They followed that up with a 68-27 win over Northeast.
2. Blackman (16-2): The Lady Blaze just keep winning. They crushed Oakland 65-33 before handing Rockvale a 59-43 loss.
3. Page (18-4): After Nolensville beat Brentwood, the Lady Patriots now hold the top-spot in District 10-4A. Their week included a 48-34 win over Ravenwood and a 61-48 win over Independence.
4. Lipscomb Academy (18-3): The two-game losing streak to start 2025 is now a thing of the distant-past for the Lady Mustangs. They upped their winning streak to six games after beating St. Cecilia Academy (64-11) and CPA (48-39).
5. Lebanon (14-6): The top spot in District 7-4A was on the line Friday night as the Devilettes traveled to Cookeville. Close throughout, Lebanon was unable to leave that game with a win as the Lady Cavaliers held on for the 53-45 win.
