Vote for the Sellars Funeral Homes Player of the Week for Week 12!

Fans can cast their vote for the Sellars Funeral Homes Player of the Week and Line of the Week award for first-round playoff games around the area.

The poll will be open until 6 p.m. Central time on Wednesday, Nov. 13. One vote can be cast per voting period.

Regular-season winners are again eligible in the playoffs.

Our team submits their votes for Player of the Week, and the fans’ poll winner gets one vote on the show as well. If there’s a tie, the fans’ voting serves as the tiebreaker and the higher-finishing player wins. The Line of the Week award is entirely fan-voted.

Here are the finalists, in alphabetical order, for the Player of the Week award for Week 12:

Mitchell Carey, DCA: Carey went 22-of-33 passing for 259 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for 35 yards and two more scores in the Wildcats’ 38-0 victory over Tipton-Rosemark.

Grayson DeGraff, Grace Christian: DeGraff caught nine passes for 237 yards adn two touchdowns in the Lions’ 37-7 win at Providence Christian.

DJ Taylor, Riverdale: Taylor ran for 151 yards and two scores and added a receiving touchdown in the Warriors’ 35-14 victory over visiting Riverdale.

Cooper White, Westmoreland: White rushed for 237 yards and four touchdowns on just 10 carries in the Eagles’ 48-14 victory over visiting Cannon County.

Kason Woodson, Springfield: Woodson helped the Yellow Jackets rally from a 17-point deficit with less than six minutes to play, throwing for 353 yards and five touchdowns on 18-of-37 passing in their 32-29 win at Munford.

Here are the Line of the Week finalists for Week 12:

Beech defense: The Buccaneers limited visiting Brighton to 163 yards of total offense with one sack and a fumble recovery in a 55-0 victory.

Page defense: The Patriots held visiting Columbia to 57 total yards and forced two fumbles in a 19-2 victory.

Oakland defense: The Patriots held visiting Lebanon to 81 yards of total offense with three forced fumbles and a fumble recovery in their 41-0 victory.

Macon County offense: The Tigers rushed for 408 yards and five touchdowns and finished with 439 yards of total offense in their 34-0 victory at Soddy Daisy.

Station Camp offense: The Bison finished with 469 yards of offense (372 rushing, 97 passing) and five rushing touchdowns in their 47-24 win at Jackson North Side.
