Jamboree weekend is a big weekend in the high school football calendar and it will only get bigger this August with the inaugural 615 Preps Preseason Showcase.
On Friday, August 11, our inaugural jamboree will be an evening full of scrimmage action at Oakland High School as teams wrap up the 2023 preseason with their standard dress rehearsals before the regular season begins the following week.
Six area teams have been confirmed for the event in Murfreesboro and a few spots are still available. The format and schedule, as well as ticket information, will be announced later.
Teams currently committed to play at Oakland include Green Hill, Nashville Christian, Cannon County, Middle Tennessee Christian, Blackman, and Lipscomb Academy. Spots for the 2024 jamboree are open as well.
In addition to the teams at Oakland, we’re also putting our name on the jamboree at East Robertson as well – with a dozen more teams slated to play in Cross Plains on August 11. Those games will consist of two 12-minute quarters.
Teams currently committed to play at East Robertson include Davidson Academy, Donelson Christian Academy, East Robertson, Greenbrier, Hendersonville, Houston County, Jo Byrns, Kirkwood, Rossview, Springfield, Station Camp, and Todd County (Kentucky).
The current schedule for the East Robertson site is as follows (away team listed first):
- 4:15 p.m. – Houston County vs. Donelson Christian Academy
- 5 p.m. – Todd County (KY) vs. Jo Byrns
- 5:45 p.m. – Davidson Academy vs. Station Camp
- 6:30 p.m. – Kirkwood vs. Greenbrier
- 7:15 p.m. – Hendersonville vs. East Robertson
- 8 p.m. – Rossview vs. Springfield
