Voting is now open for the First National Bank Player of the Week award for Week 8 action.

The poll will be open until 7 p.m. Central time on Tuesday, Oct. 12. Previous winners can only win once during the regular season. Votes can be cast once every 30 minutes.

Here are the finalists, in alphabetical order, for the Player of the Week award for Week 8:

Rayshawn Bowling, Clarksville: Bowling rushed for four touchdowns and intercepted two passes, including one for a touchdown, in the Wildcats’ 51-0 victory over visiting West Creek.

Jake McNamara, Page: McNamara was 20-of-30 for 313 yards and four touchdowns in the Patriots’ 40-22 victory over visiting Nolensville.

Chris Parson, Ravenwood: Parson completed 14-of-20 passes for 304 yards with three touchdowns and an interception, and rushed for 116 yards on 10 carries with three touchdowns in the Raptors’ 52-7 victory over visiting Centennial.

Luther Richesson, Lipscomb Academy: Richesson was 21-of-34 passing for 314 yards and five touchdowns in the Mustangs’ 44-0 victory at Knoxville Catholic.

JaMarion Thomas, Mt. Juliet Christian: Thomas had six catches for 148 yards and had 14 carries for 168 yards. He finished with five total touchdowns in the Saints’ 74-67 loss at Sale Creek.

Destin Wade, Summit: Wade was 10-of-14 passing for 183 yards and two touchdowns and rushed 16 times for 139 yards and four touchdowns in the Spartans’ 48-28 victory over visiting Independence.
