Voting is now open for the First National Bank Player of the Week award for Week 6 action.
The poll will be open until 7 p.m. Central time on Thursday, Sept. 30. Previous winners can only win once during the regular season. Votes can be cast once every 30 minutes.
Here are the finalists, in alphabetical order, for the Player of the Week award for Week 6:
Euriah Archibald, Mt. Pleasant: Archibald recorded 16 total tackles, five tackles for a loss, two sacks, a forced fumble and two fumble recoveries in the Tigers’ 35-14 loss to visiting Columbia.
Kaleb Carver, Green Hill: Carver had three catches for 106 yards and three touchdowns, a 56-yard touchdown run and a 74-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in Green Hill’s 56-27 victory over visiting White County.
Layden Grant, Fairview: Grant had 21 carries for 227 yards and two touchdowns, as well as six solo tackles and seven assisted tackles in a 33-14 win at White House Heritage.
Jordan James, Oakland: James rushed 21 times for 200 yards and two touchdowns in the Patriots’ 29-21 victory over visiting Lipscomb Academy.
Chris Parson, Ravenwood: Parson was 11-of-15 passing for 234 yards with three touchdowns and rushed for 111 yards on 12 carries and a score in the Raptors’ 35-28 victory at Hendersonville.
Jack Rummell, Independence: Rummell caught nine passes for 272 yards and two touchdowns in the Eagles’ 40-18 victory at East Nashville.
Cory Sims, Siegel: Sims rushed for 212 yards and three touchdowns in the Stars’ 42-12 victory over visiting Warren County.
Josh Strickland, Nashville Christian: Strickland had 30 carries for 289 yards and five touchdowns in the Eagles’ 42-27 victory at Davidson Academy.
Destin Wade, Summit: Wade was 6-of-10 passing for 155 yards and four touchdowns and had 12 carries for 116 yards and a score in the Spartans’ 39-7 victory over visiting Beech.
