Voting is now open for the First National Bank Player of the Week award for Week 5 action.
The poll will be open until 7 p.m. Central time on Thursday, Sept. 23. Previous winners can only win once during the regular season. Votes can be cast once every 30 minutes.
Here are the finalists, in alphabetical order, for the Player of the Week award for Week 5:
Ranen Blackburn, White House: Blackburn was 5-of-7 passing for 163 yards and rushed 185 yards on 12 carries. He had three total touchdowns in a 36-34 win over Waverly at Nissan Stadium.
Levi Moore, Ensworth: Moore was 18-of-27 passing for 287 yards and three touchdowns in a 40-7 win over visiting MUS.
Jack Rummell, Independence: Rummell had six catches for 187 yards and three touchdowns in a 38-7 win over visiting Franklin.
Dayton Sneed, DCA: Sneed had seven catches for 202 yards and four scores in a 52-14 win at Columbia Academy.
Stephen Swoner, Mt. Juliet: Swoner was 18-of-24 passing for 263 yards and four touchdowns in a 44-32 win at White County. Swoner also ran for 58 yards on nine carries and a score.
Gabe Walker, Stewarts Creek: Walker had 29 carries for 225 yards and four touchdowns. He also had a 52-yard touchdown reception in the Red Hawks’ 45-35 win at Blackman.
Sean Williams, BGA: Williams had 14 carries for 205 yards and two scores and caught two more touchdowns in a 45-30 win over visiting Davidson Academy.
