Voting is now open for the First National Bank Player of the Week award for Week 4 action.
The poll will be open until 7 p.m. Central time on Thursday, Sept. 16. Previous winners can only win once during the regular season.
Here are the finalists, in alphabetical order, for the Player of the Week award for Week 4:
Colin Cook, Pope John Paul II: Cook caught 11 passes for 165 yards and four touchdowns in the Knights’ 56-38 victory over visiting Independence.
Jake McNamara, Page: McNamara completed 26-of-32 passes for 427 yards and five touchdowns in the Patriots’ 38-17 victory at Coffee County.
Kenny Minchey, Pope John Paul II: Minchey completed 25 of 36 passes for 334 yards and four touchdowns and rushed for 63 yards and a touchdown on four carries in the Knights’ 56-38 victory over visiting Independence.
Ryan Perkins, Cannon County: Perkins rushed for 421 yards and two touchdowns in the Lions’ 42-16 victory at Webb School.
Luther Richesson, Lipscomb Academy: Richesson was 24-of-31 passing for 282 yards and eight touchdowns in the Mustangs’ 64-28 victory over visiting Pulaski (Ark.) Academy.
Junior Sherrill, Lipscomb Academy: Sherrill had nine catches for 171 yards and four touchdowns.
Destin Wade, Summit: Wade had 11 carries for 260 yards and four touchdowns and was 3-of-5 passing for 114 yards and a score in a 55-20 win over visiting Blackman.
Eli Wilson, MTCS: Rushed for 207 yards and four touchdowns, had two interceptions, including a 102-yard return for a TD, and added a 54-yard reception in a 56-27 win at Mt. Juliet Christian.
