Here are the finalists, in alphabetical order, for the Player of the Week award for Week 1:
Kaleb Beasley, Lipscomb Academy: Beasley returned both a fumble and an interception for a touchdown in Lipscomb Academy’s 76-7 victory over visiting Greater Atlanta (Ga.) Christian School.
Scott Collins, Brentwood: Collins rushed for 247 yards and four touchdowns on 25 carries in a 38-35 loss at Blackman.
Malachi Cromwell, Pearl-Cohn: Cromwell rushed for 231 yards and three touchdowns in the Firebirds’ 38-19 win at Cane Ridge.
Josh Forsee, Centennial: Forsee rushed for 219 yards and three touchdowns on 22 carries in a 40-0 victory over visiting Overton.
Noah Kleinman, Mt. Juliet Christian: Kleinman completed 22-of-30 passes for 347 yards and five touchdowns in the Saints’ 52-8 win at Lookout Valley.
Luther Richesson, Lipscomb Academy: Richesson went 16-for-16 for 277 yards and three touchdowns, and added a rushing touchdown in a 76-7 victory over visiting Greater Atlanta (Ga.) Christian School.
JaMarion Thomas, Mt. Juliet Christian: Thomas had seven catches for 192 yards and two touchdowns in the Saints’ victory at Lookout Valley.
Destin Wade, Summit: Wade had 265 yards and four touchdowns on six carries and added a touchdown pass in the Spartans’ 50-13 victory at Henry County.
