Lipscomb Academy junior Alex Broome is the Citizens Bank Player of the Week for his performance in the first round of the playoffs.
Broome had 317 total yards and five total touchdowns in a 63-3 rout of visiting St. George’s. Broome had seven carries for 131 yards and six catches for 186 yards.
Broome received both votes from Chris Brooks and Scott Burton on this week’s 615 Preps Podcast, while DeKalb County senior Axel Aldino claimed the fans’ vote.
