Area football fans seeking to get their fix can do so in several places on Thursday evening, as a few games were moved up due to the possibility of storms on Friday.
Perhaps the most notable is the Wilson Central-Lebanon contest, and while it’s not an elimination game, the winner puts themselves in a much better position to secure a Class 6A playoff spot next week.
Overton visits Stewarts Creek in a Region 5-6A battle that the Bobcats must win to keep their playoff hopes alive. Stewarts Creek puts themselves in a winner-take-all game with Smyrna if the Red Hawks and Bulldogs both win this week.
