Vote for the Citizens Bank Player of the Week for Week 9!

Voting is now open for the Citizens Bank Player of the Week for Week 9 of the 2020 high school football season.

The fans’ poll will run until 6 p.m. Tuesday evening. The poll makes up one-third of the total votes for the award, as 615 Preps’ Chris Brooks and Scott Burton will cast their votes on this week’s 615 Preps Podcast, released on Wednesday morning on all major podcast providers. The fans’ vote also serves as the tiebreaker if needed. Previous winners during the regular season are not eligible for the award again until the playoffs begin.

Here are the nominees for this week’s Player of the Week:

Jake Briningstool, Ravenwood: Briningstool had eight catches for 147 yards with three touchdowns in the Raptors’ 51-10 win at Smyrna.

Zach Flores, BGA: Flores had 12 carries for 157 yards and two touchdowns in the Wildcats’ 41-7 win at Lincoln County.

Bradford Gaines, DCA: Gaines was 9-of-12 passing for 191 yards and three touchdowns in the Wildcats’ 49-17 win over visiting King’s Academy.

Aden Hooper, MTCS: Hooper threw for 177 yards and four touchdowns in a 35-27 win over visiting Franklin Grace.

Jordan James, Oakland: James had 15 carries for 139 yards and two touchdowns in the Patriots’ 30-7 win at Riverdale.

Samson Johnson, Nolensville: Johnson ran for 105 yards and scored four touchdowns on 15 carries in a 42-0 win over visiting Maplewood.

Matt McClary, Nashville Christian: McClary was 12-of-16 passing for 301 yards with three total touchdowns in a 39-28 win at Jackson Christian.

Desmond Nokes, DeKalb County: Nokes caught nine passes for 151 yards and three touchdowns in the Tigers’ 24-20 win at Macon County.

Jared Vetetoe, Davidson Academy: Vetetoe was 9-of-14 passing for 249 yards and four touchdowns in the Bears’ 42-3 victory over visiting Trinity Christian.

Luke Walters, Brentwood: Walters had 13 carries for 123 yards and three touchdowns in the Bruins’ 42-20 win over visiting Franklin.
