White House senior Ranen Blackburn is the Citizens Bank Player of the Week for his performance in Week 7.
Blackburn, who moved from running back to quarterback for the game due to injuries to teammates, and had 27 carries for 224 yards and two touchdowns and had 106 passing yards and a touchdown in the Blue Devils’ 32-31, overtime victory over visiting Portland.
Blackburn gained both votes from 615 Preps Podcast hosts Chris Brooks and Scott Burton this week, though the fans’ vote sided with Goodpasture wide receiver Brendan Jones.
