Opening Drive (Aug. 21) Game day – for a lot more of you

Rockvale and La Vergne treated us to a high-scoring affair to open the 2020 season on Thursday evening.

The Wolverines prevailed 49-35 behind Ray Banner’s 273-yard, five-touchdown effort, putting the La Vergne senior at more than one-third of his touchdown output from last year after just 48 minutes of work.

Rockvale quarterback Logan Nowacki tossed three scoring strikes, including two to C.J. Steele, and Landon Starnes found the end zone twice on carries for the Rockets.
