Game week is officially here.
After months of speculation and concern about if the high school season was going to get off the ground, we’re less than five days away from kickoff for most teams.
While some are still sidelined, others are putting game plans in for Week 1 opponents.
Today is an important day for the near future of high school football in Tennessee, however, as the TSSAA is set to discuss classification and whether football should remain at six Division I classes or move back to five. That discussion begins at 9 a.m. Central time.
