Player of the Week – First round playoffs

This week’s Midstate Player of the Week for the first round of the playoffs is Nolensville senior wide receiver/defensive back Tim Coutras.

Coutras scored four touchdowns in the Knights’ 47-7 victory over visiting Macon County in the first round of the Class 4A playoffs. Coutras had two catches for 67 yards and a touchdown (25 yards), two carries for 52 yards and two touchdowns (2 and 50 yards), and a 62-yard interception return for another score.

Nolensville travels to Livingston Academy for a second-round contest this week.
