This week’s Midstate Player of the Week is Fairview junior Logan Nardozzi.
The Yellow Jacket tailback had 18 carries for 203 yards and three touchdowns in Fairview’s 43-7 victory at Harpeth.
With the victory, the Yellow Jackets improved to 6-2 overall and 4-0 in Region 6-3A play. Fairview is off this week, and will next host Dickson County on Oct. 25.
Last week’s Player of the Week, Stratford senior James Moore, had another strong effort with 30 carries for 269 yards and four touchdowns in the Spartans’ 49-0 win at Sycamore. Since Moore is a prior Player of the Week recipient, however, he is not eligible for another award during the regular season.
