The semifinal round always creates some long road trips for visiting teams.
Here’s how long (in miles from campus to campus) each visiting team has to travel in the semifinals involving area teams this week, listed from shortest to longest:
Class 5A: Summit at Henry County, 114 miles
Class 3A: Pearl-Cohn at Milan, 130 miles
Class 2A: Meigs County at Trousdale County, 135 miles (Note: Trousdale County’s stadium is not at the high school, so this measures to the field itself.)
Class 6A: Maryville at Oakland, 172 miles
Class 6A: Brentwood at Bartlett, 195 miles
Class 4A: Elizabethton at Nolensville, 297 miles
