The playoff puzzle has so many pieces still yet to fall, and with several games coming off the schedule on Monday due to teams quarantining, it appears the picture may see more changes even before kickoff this week.
Five games were cancelled on Monday, including a key one in Smyrna at Stewarts Creek that would have decided the Region 5-6A title. Whether or not other matchups come together before Friday remains to be seen. If there’s one team that could use it, it’s Summit, as the Spartans have only played once this month.
Stewarts Creek became the first casualty in the playoff bracket, as the Red Hawks’ 14-day quarantine will take them past the Nov. 6 first round game, so their season comes to an end.
