The regular season is officially into its second half this week.
With fall break for many teams during the next two weeks, some Thursday night games are creeping into the schedule.
And some schedule changes are already happening for Week 7 with a few teams being forced out of action for a few days, as the CPA-Lipscomb Academy and Blackman-Oakland games are both off the table as Lions and Blaze both had positive COVID-19 tests. The Mustangs added Briarcrest Christian to their schedule for this week, while the Patriots are seeking a game as well.
More Metro teams are also swapping sites for games moving forward in order to have their fans able to attend. Maplewood’s Oct. 9 game is now at Nolensville after the teams agreed to make the change. There’s a decent chance that won’t be the last such swap this season, either.
