Citizens Bank Player of the Week voting for Week 2 is open!

Voting for the Citizens Bank Player of the Week award is open on our Twitter page until 5 p.m. Central time on Tuesday, Sept. 1.

Here are this week’s finalists:

Jackson Noble, Pope John Paul II junior: Noble had three interceptions and a fumble recovery in the Knights’ 28-21 victory over visiting Lipscomb Academy.

Connor Beavon, Franklin senior: Beavon was 15-for-22 passing for 367 yards and four touchdowns in a 30-25 loss at Riverdale.

Junior Colson, Ravenwood senior: Colson had 11 tackles with two for a loss, a fumble recovery, a blocked punt and a 90-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in the Raptors’ 38-9 victory over visiting Blackman.

Antwan Roberts, Pope John Paul II senior: Roberts rushed for 167 yards and four touchdowns on 30 carries in the Knights’ 28-21 victory over Lipscomb Academy.
