After claiming the inaugural 615 Preps Helmet Madness bracket in April, Mt. Juliet can now add the Uniform Challenge title as well.
More than 2,700 votes were cast in the championship match, pitting the eighth-seeded Golden Bears against Wilson County rival Lebanon, with Mt. Juliet steadily pulling away to claim 60.5 percent of the votes in the 48-hour window.
As a result, the Golden Bears’ Aug. 21 season opener at home against Stewarts Creek will serve as the first 615 Preps Spotlight game of the 2020 season.
In total, more than 19,000 total votes were cast in the tournament.
