Four teams survived to reach the semifinals of the inaugural 615 Preps
Uniform Challenge.
Two seeded teams – fifth-seeded Springfield and eighth-seeded Mt. Juliet –
each advanced by knocking off other seeded teams. The Yellow Jackets narrowly edged 13th-seeded Nolensville with 50.6 percent of votes cast, while the Golden Bears eliminated top-seeded Davidson Academy with 59.7 percent of votes.
Lebanon upended third-seeded Ravenwood, finishing with 58.6 percent of the votes. Gallatin defeated Smith County with 57 percent of the votes in the other quarterfinal matchup.
Mt. Juliet and Springfield will face off in one semifinal on Friday, while
Lebanon and Gallatin meet in the other matchup. Those winners will advance to Monday’s final.
More than 2,000 total votes came in during the quarterfinal round.
