Springfield and Ravenwood take their shots at state titles on Saturday, hoping to carry the public school banner for Middle Tennessee.
Midstate teams have gone 1-4 in BlueCross Bowl championship games so far this week as only Davidson Academy has left Cookeville with a gold ball for the trophy case.
And, in the four losses, the teams involved (CPA, MBA, Pearl-Cohn and Summit) combined for 28 points in those games.
