While the majority of teams are still playing this evening, Beech and Gallatin put on a show Thursday night, with the Buccaneers holding off the Green Wave for a 14-10 victory and the Region 6-5A title in front of several thousand fans.

Ja’Sean Parks’ 2-yard plunge with 7:49 to play wound up being the game-winning score as the Bucs ensured that at least the first two of their playoff games would be at home with the region championship.

More of the bracket will be filling in over the next eight days.
