With still no end to the summertime weather as the calendar turns to October, the playoff races are beginning to heat up as the second half of the regular season is underway.
Plenty of regions have games with title implications this week, such as a battle of two 6-0 teams when East Nashville visits Pearl-Cohn. Beech puts its perfect record on the line and hopes to remain in first place in Region 6-5A when the Buccaneers host Hillsboro.
Oakland and Blackman tangle with first place in Region 3-6A at stake, while Brentwood visits Independence with the winner holding the top spot in Region 6-6A. There are plenty of top matchups this week, and we’ll talk about them on the next episode of the 615Preps Podcast, recording tonight and dropping on Wednesday.
