Opening Drive (Sept. 17): Same at the top

0 0

There wasn’t a ton of change atop the statewide polls this week, as the top three remained the same in seven of the nine classifications. Interesting to note, however, is only one of the classes has a unanimous No. 1 team – that’s BGA in Division II-AA. So, there’s some debate as to who the best teams are in each class, and that can only be a good thing.

Take note that the 615Preps Podcast will drop on Wednesdays beginning this week. In the latest episode, we discuss whether more teams with smaller rosters need to consider 8-man football, plus pick this week’s winners in “Who Ya Got?” and recap the headlines from last week’s games. Remember to subscribe and rate the podcast on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, and other various streaming sources.
