Opening Drive (Sept. 16): Nearing halfway

Many teams will hit the halfway point of their regular season schedules this Friday. With several unbeaten teams still in play, this week becomes a bit of a challenge for some.

None of the 615 area unbeaten teams play each other this week, but one does have a contest against another unbeaten squad when Baylor visits Ensworth in a battle of two 4-0 teams. Other unbeatens who face stiff tests this week include Wilson Central (at Mt. Juliet), Creek Wood (at Montgomery Central), White House (vs. Springfield), Ravenwood (at Brentwood) and BGA (at CPA).

We’ll pick those winners and more on this week’s episode of the 615Preps Podcast, which will be released Wednesday this week and every week for the remainder of the season.
